Nestled in the valley and located at the crossroads that has made Hammondville, Alabama what it is today. The Sunshine Cafe is in an historic building dating back to 1950’s.
Originally the town's Gas Station & Cafe, our building has served as a variety of business throughout the years. It is an honor to bring back a Hammondville original and salute the heritage of our great town.
Today, The Sunshine Café serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in an atmosphere of fun, creative comfort. Our food is created to be funky country mix - real food you recognize and love with a modern twist. We've taken American Classics and added a hint of culinary sophistication to appeal to a wide variety of discerning palates. At The Sunshine Cafe, there's something for everyone!
Our meals are made in our own kitchen, from scratch, everyday. This allows us to completely control and guarantee the highest standards of quality and freshness. Add in the passion of our Chefs for fresh, delicious ingredients, and our food becomes much more than "just a meal"!

The Moonlight Bistro was opened in nearby Mentone, Alabama in July 2010. We're serving the same great, healthful food as we do at Sunshine and you can expect the same friendly atmosphere and excellent service.
As with Sunshine, all our dishes are made from fresh, all natural products and are locally-grown right here in the heart of Dixie.
